Heirloom is proud to be representing Catinet equipment in North America. Catinet has been building rug washing equipment for over 25 years and supplies the European market with some of the strongest built machines available today.
Currently we have in stock, the 5 meter (17 foot) compression roll wringer. This unique design uses a smaller, but flexible upper roller. It applies pressure all along the length of the rollers to give a superior wringing action. This is beneficial when putting different thickness rugs through side by side.
It is made entirely from stainless steel and has a weight of about 7,000 pounds. It utilizes a dual drive motor system that drives each end of the machine, with speeds from 1 to 8 feet per minute. The slower you wring a rug, the better the moisture removal will be.
The compression is done with 13 air cylinders that are driven by an air compressor.
"We have been using our machine at our rug washing facility for over 6 months now and it has more than doubled our production, compared to just using our centrifuge. It helps prevent many issues that can arise with bleeding rugs. Especially imprinting when a bleeding rug is spun in a centrifuge. This is definitely a tool that you want in your toolbox."
